Made in Bangladesh Expo™ 2025’ Successfully Concludes in Jeddah

Post-Event Performance and Commercial Achievements Highlighted at “Meet the Press”

Marking a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s export expansion and international trade outreach, the Made in Bangladesh Expo™: Saudi Arabia Edition 2025 concluded successfully in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To present the expo’s overall success, commercial outcomes, and future plans, a Meet the Press session was held in Jeddah.

Organised from 11–13 December 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Jeddah, the international trade expo featured 40 Bangladeshi companies, including seven companies supported by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). The exhibition showcased a diverse range of sectors, including Ready-Made Garments (RMG), agro and halal food, ICT and digital services, plastics, jute and jute-based products, as well as real estate and hospitality.

During the Meet the Press, the organisers shared notable post-event commercial achievements, including:

  • Confirmed export orders: USD 475,000
  • Confirmed investments in real estate and hospitality: USD 546,000
  • 23 trade enquiries
  • 55 business-to-business (B2B) meetings
  • Over 200 new business connections established

The expo was inaugurated by Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Honorable Consul General of Bangladesh in Jeddah. The closing ceremony was graced by Osama Kokandi, Chairman of the Saudi Economic Council, further reinforcing the expo’s international significance.

Addressing the media, Md. Liton Ahmed, Founder and Chairman of Global Trade Promotion Council of Bangladesh (GTPCB) and Made in Bangladesh Expo™, stated:

“This expo has significantly strengthened the Made in Bangladesh™ brand on the global stage. Buyers from Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region have shown strong interest in Bangladesh’s product quality, competitive pricing, and direct sourcing opportunities.”

He also added that similar international trade expos will be organised across Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries in the future to further expand Bangladesh’s exports and attract foreign investment.

Journalists attending the Meet the Press expressed satisfaction with the overall organisation of the expo, its commercial achievements, and its promising outlook for future Bangladesh–GCC trade collaboration.
